I play space simulating games now and then and they always seem to turn what are vast urban and natural forms on the ground into small parts of a greater, and unfamiliar macro landscape when your ship is at altitude. This photo does just that, positioned halfway between the ground and the clouds. The foreground foliage in focus, the land far, far below beyond them almost looks miniature until the water it borders fades into the atmosphere. The urban sprawl on the land's edge almost looks like thinning grass and wild flowers at first glance.

The icing on the cake is the way the camera's altitude flattens out clouds that likely seem almost infinitely far away from the ground, and lets the mountains curve with the earth's surface into the distance.

The exposure is not too high nor too low, the range of saturation, focus, and distinctness is just right, and while the framing doesn't seem to have definite anchoring on the right or left, the horizon is nicely above the picture's midline, like the corner between a low ceiling and its adjoining wall to a taller fellow.
